THE POTENTIAL OF POSSIBILITY

The New Symposium treats potential not as a latent property awaiting discovery but as something produced through specific conditions: time, attention, material experimentation, historical understanding, informed disagreement, and encounters capable of altering the choices available within a work.

It offers no frictionless passage from idea to outcome. Its proposition is more exacting: that practitioners can make their methods legible without fixing them, give form to unfinished questions without forcing closure, and reopen completed works as propositions.
